Hello Plava. I also wanted to try to learn Marathi but unforuently there weren't many resources. There is a book called Teach Yourself Marathi by R.S  Dishpande. http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Yourself-Marathi-R-Dishpande/dp/0870526200/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1340909770&sr=8-13&keywords=Marathi
It is a very basic course but will teach you basic Marathi, I bought it in a second hand book store and it didn't come with audio, but I'm not sure if the new one on amazon comes with audio or not. This is pretty much the only coursebook I know of for Marathi. There is also a Marathi dictionary and phrasebook on amazon that has gotten very good reviews:
http://www.amazon.com/Marathi-English-English-Marathi-Dictionary-Phrasebook-Daniel/dp/0781811422/ref=dp_cp_ob_sw_title_2

Hope this helps a little, good luck learning Marathi Smiley

Do you guys know about University of Chicago's online resource? I admit, I only poked around through the materials, but it seems pretty good for an introductory level.
