I have this one movement from Carmina Burana stuck in my head (cuz my choir's singing it right now), that I've been trying to get out of my head. Its soooooooooooooo annoying to hear that one movement go on and on and on and on and on ............................. and Gori Gori from MHN isn't doing a very good job of pushing it out Angry

I usually bypass this thread since I know I'm always humming something inane/mainstream/both, and wouldn't contribute anything special.

But thanks to 'Beyond Bollywood', I can put in something interesting:

I've got "Thirakkaatha Kaatukulle" from En Swasa Katre, a Tamil film, that has some very early, vintage, undiluted, gorgeous ARR tunes. For fans of Rahman, or those attempting regional cinema...don't miss out on this album.

The lyrics are especially gorgeous. In this song, the first lines go something like ..."we roam as unborn children in an unopened forest".....whew*low whistle*

Gela gela gela from Aitraaz. Its kind of Bollywood meets Reggae. Kareena and Akshay were cute dancing to this. I find myself dancing to it.  Smiley

For me, on my current classics kick, it's two songs - "mera joota hai japani" and "ichak dana". Just typing their names makes me break out in song. Now, if I only had a red hat from Russia to wear!
