Doesn't seem to be a thread for this?
Anyway, coming across this news-bit about Sudeep captaining the Karnataka Bulldozers (sorry, but, lol!), the Sandalwood team, finally made me think I very much wanted to watch these games. And it seems there is now some formality? regularity? to these games. In any case the CCL is official now, according to the Telugu video below. And the Tamil Superstars have a facebook page.  Tongue Given all that, why not a thread?

So with a bit more googling...
said Telugu news/celebrity news spot with an amusing (IMO) ad that plays twice (I think it would be pretty astounding if any of those 'yesteryear' stars turned up to play cricket!) - I'm not sure what I think about actresses as 'ambassadors' - I guess at least they get to 'participate'?
Mumbai Heroes/Bollywood team practice (good thing too!)

Random, possibly informational, articles:

Tamil Superstars

They did get Rajni to turn up?

Small picture of the Mumbai Heroes in Vizag - nonetheless, Salman is easy to pick out  Tongue

Found this blurb/photos in my e-Galatta magazine:

I can still only pick out Surya, Karthi, Abbas, Bharath, Vishal - is that Jeeva on the end of the uppermost picture?

FilmiCafe posted a lot of photos... not a lot of good ones though. There were a lot of unidetifiable cricketers, mid-play, and several of Genelia cheering and several more of Bhavana with widely varying expressions.

I've watched bits and pieces of one game and the bad cricket gets old pretty quickly, but it's given a couple of the up and coming actors a chance to get their names out there.

And I love, love, LOVE the Mumbai Heroes theme song. It's full-on tapori.

The grinch in me wishes they'd stop calling T20 cricket - it's backyard baseball with a cricket bat.
