So I'd tried to use Google Translate on Hindi before and it was a bit crap, but tried again today out of curiosity and it has this really awesome feature where you can type in Roman alphabet and it will transcribe it for you, which is quite cool. Then there's the 'say aloud' facility which cracks me up for some reason. Just playing around typing in 'I whip my hair back and forth' and hearing it read aloud was hilarious and really quite cool. Also (she admits slightly shamefully) one can type in the names of ones favourite actors and see how they are pronounced Tongue

Enjoy! http://translate.google.co.uk/#

Actually guys, just type stuff in English and have it read out in a very sincere Indian accent.

Two White Girls Become Cunning Linguists via Google Translate (video)

Some of the language is a little awkward, but they got the food they ordered.
