Random tip and question here:

On other forums I use, there's an option to embed the hyperlink in the text, so that it looks like
this: Bollywhat, instead of this: http://bollywhat.com/

When I use those forums, the formatting looks like this:   [ url= "link here" ] name of what you want to call it here

If I'm using Internet Explorer and use that formatting in the BW forums, it works fine. But I was having some challenges doing it in Firefox, and realized that if I took out the quotes around the url (so =link here, not ="link here") it worked ok.

Just curious to know from computer types if this is common to have these differences between types of forum/board systems and the type of browser you're using.

I use Firefox and the non-quotes version works on many forums.

Can a Macbook user please tell me how to post hyperlinks as text on Bollywhat?

[ url=http://www.bollywhat-forum.com]Bollywhat without the space between [ and url , which also works on other systems.

Aside: I'm trying to write this in Safari, which seems to have problems displaying the preview of the message.  Firefox works much better.
