I found some stills of Ileana from her current Telugu movie "Rechipo"- she is looking damn gorgeous!  I've generally found her extremely lanky and precocious looking in her previous films, but it seems that she is starting to mature in her looks.  Her claim to fame seems to be her widely-proportioned, curvy hips. 

From Chakpak: "Ileana D’Cruz is originally a Mangalorean born in Mumbai and now living in Goa. She was born on 19th August 1987...Ileana D’Cruz landed her first movie when she was noticed in a Fair and Lovely ad. She played Bhanumathi in Devadasu (2006) which was a commercial success. Puri Jagannadh’s Pokiri (2006) with Mahesh Babu was another hit on her list.  She then made her debut in Tamil cinema with Kedi (2006).  She was seen in movies like Munna (2007) and Jalsa (2008). In 2009, she will be seen in Saleem, Kick and Local."

Wow!!! If every issue is like this, this will be a worthy accomplishment, indeed.

You know this is one magazine that I actually feel that I could give to my professors. Cause you know, they're always happy to get media examples, and international ones at that.   Granted, I can't read the text clearly enough to know if the writing is good (but I have a feeling it might be), but what I see beats pretty much all else I've seen from the Indian entertainment magazines--Vogue, Filmfare, etc.

Sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't.. either way, I can't ignore  her Smiley I first saw her in Pokiri, didn't like her performance.. maybe it was her role, I hate heroines that cry all the time Undecided But I've come around

I think she looked her best in Aata and Munna

No, definitely not stupid, very far from it. Their objective was to catch potential readers' eyes, to maximise exposure to the ads which pay their wages, and an out-of-context quote that hints at conflict has worked very well for them. Disingenuous undoubtedly, and of peccable morality, but not stupid.

For some reason when I look at her I am totally reminded of Madhuri back in the day. Especially the hips and the yes. Seems so reminiscent of Madhuri back then.
