I love this song. So. Much. I love that move his does first at 0:08 and then he does it again at 2:21 and again at 3:52. I don't know why, it's so simple, but it makes me crazy!
I know which one you're talking about without even having to check the video! I think we respond to it because it epitomises Mahesh: dork-cool.
That does it. I am re-watching Pokiri
right. now.

This scene made me weak in the knees.
Actually there were a few lovely moments in Murari. Sigh.

Thanks for the pics. Very nice. Add me to the troupe of his ever growing fans. I would definitely choose him over Prabhas anyday, though I like him too.

Count me in on that contest, Mahesh any day over Prabhas. I've been watching Varsham today and I lilke it a lot, but he is just not Mahesh. I noticed earlier in the thread the same theme that I have noticed about Mahesh - you have to see him in action to really appreciate him. Pictures of him are too static to capture his energy and coolness. Although it's still nice to look at them.
I completely blame you prahajess for getting me on a Mahesh kick. I've been desperately searching for his movies and consuming way too fast.
I saw this website where you are supposed to be able to watch Raja Kumarudu, but there are no subtitles. I watched a few minutes and it was pretty awful.

Everyone knows I love Prabhas, and when I read this a few weeks ago I thought, "What? No way!" But I have to admit...I love Mahesh more. I think I just shut down any major crushiness right away once I found out he was married (It was a very sad day. I had just watched Pokiri and fallen more and more in love with him by the minute, and then I hopped online and what do I see? "Married to Namrata Shirodkar.")
*sob*
At least she's someone I like. I would have hated to find out he was married to someone I can't stand!
Um...so anyway, pictures...
He's thinking about me, right?

I'm so proud to have converted someone to Mahesh!
Though obviously it's not all that hard.
I have all the songs from Sainikudu on repeat in my car at the moment and one of them has a couple of (very short) lines of Mahesh's from the movie (of course getting ready to kick someone's a**
)! !!
I have constant stomach aches at the sound of his voice, and now I'm going to have even worse ones when I think about that adorable picture.
Sigh. Sob. etc.

I'm a brand new convert to the cult of Mahesh. I watched Pokiri and Athadu this week. I think Pokiri has one of my favorite character introductions ever:
Hee--I'm all about imagery that makes me crave cute boys AND fresh fruit 'n' veggies at the same time. (sorry about the low quality on the screencaps, I'm new at this.)

I rewatched Pokiri last night, and at the begnning of Gala Gala, I was like "gah, I totally love that little shuffle he does at the beginning, it's such a cute *guy* thing to do." And then I was rereading this thread and came to this, and thought, "huh, which song are they talking about?"

I'm glad you like it, Prahajess.
I'm using the same one as my desktop wallpaper. Your Mahesh posts around the forum have inspired me to re-watch his movies lately.
I get frustrated trying to capture him, though
.... you really need to see him in motion to get it. Sigh.
I just had to comment on this--Don't you know you can't capture him because he moves
so fast
you can't even see him move?

Haha, yes that is
exactly
the problem!
I was just re-watching Athidi last night, and it has that scene in the bar where no one can see how he hits the other guy because he moves so fast. They have to show an instant replay.

I was thinking Mahesh needed more than 2 pages on this thread so I did some screencaps of Pokiri.
I worked really hard to try to get the cigarette smoke in this one.
