For many months I've been unable to view the forum: it never showed up at all, not even once, since I first had the problem. I got a page not found whether I was using Firefox or IE. I used to check the link more often, wondering if it was a server problem that would be solved, but got no results and started feeling that for whatever reason my computer just had an issue with the forum since I could view the main BollyWHAT page. But today I was feeling nostalgic for the translated lyrics section, checked the link and - it actually worked! I do hope the problem is gone now. I have no idea what could have caused it, nothing changed for my computer between this and the last time I tried coming here.

I haven't been having problems for a while now.  I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm now back in Ottawa (Canada).  That's not to say I've never had problems from here before, but while I was in Ohio earlier this year, I had the worst time getting on to this website.

Just wanted to let mods/admin know: the last several days, forum access has been great in LA! I'm able to log in and everything, no proxy and stuff. So thanks!!

Believe it or not, but even I as a moderator have had huge issues getting on with the site working at very restricted times.  But yes, lately, the last 4 days or so, it has been working great!  :fingers crossed.

O.M.G.!!!  

For the first time in months I have been able to get onto Bollywhat without using a proxy server.  Shocked

I have had no problems loading the forum, but do find that it tells me my session has timed out every time I post. Resubmitting the post works fine, so it is not a big problem, but the behaviour is odd.

ETA: My configuration is IE 8 on Windows 7, and it happened again on this post.

The past couple of days I haven't been able to see the preview of my posts. I'd wait for ever and it would just keep "fetching...". So I started posting without seeing the preview. It posts but very very slowly. My internet connection hasn't changed, so pretty sure it's the forum server, not my Internet.. Not a huge deal, but thought I'd mention it.

Exact same happened to me.  Wait a minute *squints eyes*... you're from Canada too, right?  So maybe this problem is a geographic thing.

^Unless Memphis, TN is now part of Canada, I don't think so!

I got the SMF error message, and then the site loaded and I could only access private messages.

About 7 or 8 US CST, it started working normally for me.

 I can't get to the main site through which I usually enter the forum - it loads forever and then says "connection timed out". Everything else is working fine. I finally got here by googling "you know you're obsessed with shahrukh"  Tongue. It probably is something concerning my browser, but I was wondering if somebody else has problems with the BW? site.

It's not just you, Alexaha, the main site does seem to be down for some reason.  I've sent off an email to the server.  For now, you could come to the forum by going to www.bollywhat-forum.com  It seems the forum is not affected.

Oddly enough I can get the forum from home now - after at least a year of no access. The only thing that has changed is that I have installed some new anti-virus software.
