Who Is The Better Dancer? Shahid vs. Hrithik

Since we have a SRK vs. Hrithik dancing poll, I thought it'll be fun to have a poll consisting of the two guys that I personally consider to be the best male dancers in Bollywood at the moment.

Try to vote on technique, style, versatility, energy etc.

Shouldn't all these questions about dancing be "who appears as a better dancer?"
With takes that last from 30-90 seconds, and a cut made every 20-30 seconds or less, it shouldn't be that difficult for someone to come across as an accomplished dancer.

Hrithik because I feel he is more versatile. Shahid is also very good but he is more hip-hop to me.

Yeah and he looks like he's having fun, I once saw him do a Hero Honda Star Screen Awards performance he did Gustakh Dil and he was dancing like rock and roll/swing it was so good it made me want to get up. Hrithik sort of just makes me go..."okay no way I can even try...I'll just sit here and think of what else I can NOT do in life." I still like his dancing though.

Wouldn't it be good if Hrithik and Shahid were in a movie together? And they're like brothers and everyone likes Hrithik and wants him as and item guy but Shahid is the one who's more passionate about dancing. Or they can be students in a dance school or something.

Although Hirtik is more experience, I liked Shahid better.  Very natural.   Seems to be enjoying dancing.
 
Hirtik is considered better but I find him over rehearsed and mechanical like dancing is work.    He needs to forget to be perfect, dance like he is  having a good time.   He looks good on staged dances but in natural surroundings looks much too perfect.

You sure?  I'm only asking cause Shahid used to be a background dancer.  He was a background dancer in Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal.

I think so.   Hirtik is certainly more experienced and in a formal competition would probably get great marks but to me he looks like he is working too hard to be perfect and forgets to enjoy dancing like regular people would.    Shahid was in Dil To pagal Hai dancing?   Never noticed him.

shahid kapoor in my opinion is an awful answer, he seems to have little control over his body, and i find him in most occasion irritating to watch. I am by no means a dancer and I'm sure I know even less about his technical skills, but i know what appeals me and he definitely doesnt. I enjoy hrithik because he moves well, and although at times he is very cherographed he appaers to be a natural mover.

I voted Hrithik.  I like Shahid and I think he is a good dancer, which is very refreshing since I grew up watching Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan dancing!  So it is really nice to have a guy who can dance.  Now, I can totally appreciate that Hrithik's apparent lack of any bone structure in his body freaks some people out, but you have to admit, there is nothing that boy can't do, whereas Shahid appears to simply carry out the choreography well.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I feel like he is more mechanical in his movements than Hrithik is (even though HR looks less than human sometimes, I admit!).  After Krrish and Dhoom 2, I am convinced there has never been a better dancer in BW than Hrithik and I doubt there will be another one.

Now if we are talking about whom I prefer to watch dance, that is a different story.  While I'm most impressed with Hrithik, I enjoy Shah Rukh more than anyone else in BW.  I was watching Mahi Ve yesterday and it was so apparent how much of a better dancer he is than Saif and it wasn't that he was just a better technical dancer, but that he was just such a pleasure to watch whereas Saif was just doing the choreography and doing a good enough job at it.

But I digress ... yes, I can see SRK is not in this poll, so don't send me angry pms!!

Both are good dancers Shahid sems more relaxed where as HR seems more techincal and needs to let him self go with the flow.

Who can dance better than Hrithik??? Shahid is good but hrithik is just the best. ANd Ranbir kapoor seems too be a good dancer as well in the promo of saawariya

Although I am very impressed with Hrithik, he is too rubbery. Don't get me wrong: I'll WATCH him!!!!!!!!!    But I prefer Shahid. More natural, IMO.
