With the gossip flying around about Adi and Rani, could his younger brother be getting hitched soon?

From ApunkaChoice.com

Reports are that Uday Chopra is all set to tie the knot with Tanishaa , Kajol 's sister, by the end of this year.

The two have been seeing each other for the last two years and are now ready to get married.

The couple has the consent of their respective and is now waiting for them to fix the marriage date.

It all began on the sets of Arjun Sablok 's Neal 'N' Nikki .

Uday and Tanishaa started off as friends but soon started dating each other. Their reel story, unfortunately, was a flop, but their real story seems to be doing rather well.

The couple started thinking seriously about marriage during the Abhishek Bachchan - Aishwarya Rai wedding reception.

Kajol is believed to have jokingly suggested that the couple should get married. That seems to have set the ball rolling.

Hm, what if it was their roka that took place at the Chopra home earlier this week, and the press either guessed, assumed, or fabricated (because it's a better story) that it was Aditya's and Rani's?

The above story looks completely fabricated, and the Ranitya denials have been pretty lackluster.

OTOH, Tanisha's movie career may have peaked with NnN and perhaps there is a half-off dowry special on Mukherjees right now.

I think it's official. It was mentioned last night on Times Now's entertainment capsule.

I think it's an intersting story. I heard this one some time back, so I wouldn't be surprised. I saw the deleted scenes and the extras in Neal n' Nikki and it seems the two did share some chemistry off camera. I want to believe this one more than the Rani and Aditya story.

HAHAHA! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy This is crazy! I can see it now: Chopra Brothers marry Mukherji cousins. ROFLAMO.

Well, you know what they say, no smoke without fire, and remember not many people truly believed the Aish-Abhi rumours (at least I didn't). But I was glad it was true in the end, they're a cute couple (suffice to say can't say the same here - but if it's true good for them).

Could anyone tell if Uday really dated Shamita Shetty before Tanisha? Because that's what this page says http://www.surfindia.com/celebrities/bollywood/shamita-shetty.html

'I am not engaged to Uday Chopra'
Tanisha's filmi connections speak louder than her acting career. She's in the city to shoot for RGV's Sarkar-2.
Remember the bubbly girl in Aditya Chopra's Neal 'n' Nikki? Tanisha Mukherjee hasn't made her presence felt, on screen, but the number of her relatives in tinsel town matches the number of her releases. She is Tanuja's daughter, Kajol's sister, Ajay Devgan's sister-in-law and Rani Mukherjee's cousin. Despite the poor showing of four of her films, the actor is trying her luck, again. But this time, she seems to be in safe hands. In town to shoot for Ramgopal Varma's Sarkar-2 , she talked exclusively to Hyderabad Times.

Success might not have come Tanisha's way, but her demeanour certainly doesn't betray the humble state of affairs. When asked if acting was a natural choice, pat came the reply, "I have answered this question in the past. Can we please talk about something else?"

She comes across as an ambitious actor who wants to be remembered for her accomplishments. "I am an individual in my own right. Comparisons do not bother me at all. It is very flattering, though, to be compared with actors like my sister and mother," says Tanisha.

After playing a small part in Sarkar I, is she looking forward to a bigger role in Sarkar-2 ? "I play the same character. That is all I can say for now," she replies. However, she is more forthcoming when asked about Hyderabad. "It is so much easier to connect with Hyderabad, compared to cities like Mumbai, where you can easily lose yourself. On my last visit to the city, I went shopping in the by-lanes of the Old City, clad in a burkha," shares Tanisha.
Having acted in a Tamil film Unnale Unnale, is she planning to work in Tollywood? "I am open to working in a Telugu flick, if an opportunity comes across. Language is not a barrier for an actor . Tollywood's amazing action scenes have caught my attention." Post Neal 'n' Nikki, rumours were rife about her getting engaged with co-star Uday Chopra. Dismissing them, she says, "I am not engaged to him, and wouldn't like to comment on the issue."

Maybe we should just start a rumors thread instead of starting a thread for every rumor.

I'm not sure if they dated but I do remember on KwK Shamita naming Uday as most attractive leading man.  I thought he was an odd choice but maybe they did date at one point.

I did not know these two were ever an item, interesting to read this old topic.
Kajol's little sister is one of those actresses where I wonder why she didn't make more movies. Maybe she will act in something with Kajol one day, who knows.

The director's commentary on the Neal 'n' Nikki DVD hinted at a relationship between the two. There were things not to like in that flick, but I thought her performance, given what she had to work with, showed really good comic timing. I particularly liked the romantic song spoof I'm In Love and the cake scene at the end (which reminds me of the broken teacup scene in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan). Too bad she didn't get more roles.

Slightly off topic here, but I really enjoyed Neal 'n' Nikki, as in I was very entertained by it.  I liked the fact that as a movie it definitely wasn't taking itself seriouslyl, and between the two of them, Uday and Tanishaa, she was definitely the better actor in that film.
