If it's based on Con Air then it explains why Saif would have a son and still be romancing Kareena. The writers could have tweaked the story of Con Air so that instead of having waited for her husband for seven years, Kareena's character finds another man and tries to move on? It makes sense, but then what does that have to do with the rickshaws?

IMDb board person who gave us the Con-air hypothesis said that Saif plays the cop whilst Akki is the convict, and Anil the bad guy who kidnaps the plane.

It's been ages since I saw bits of the original movie so tough to say. They could move the story from a plane to a move Indian vehicle, like a train.

I doubt everything I read on the IMDb boards so I'm unsure about this rumor, too. Also, I still doubt Ibrahim's role is very big in this one. I'm expecting more of a cameo "oh look Saif's kid!" type of thing.

The last Friday gone, Me and My father had visited the Yashraj Office here in the UK. The orignal purpose was for a meeting, but in the lobby was the first look of Tashan. It had Akshay, Saif, Kareena and Anil all standing on a mountain and with a redish sky, all the actors were in black. It was a teaser poster and said April 2007.

I had just confirmed with Yashraj and they say Tashan's first look will be given to Indiafm and their own site on the 30th November or after. They also confirmed that the theatrical trailer of Tashan will be with Aaja Nachle on the 30th November.

The heat of Tashan begins 30th November....

and how do we know this is solid proof??. even if it is. as much as i am waiting for the film. i think it kills the film to show a preview six months in advance.

sahhar has a point.. If it's REALLY as late as April, why so soon? I'd understand January.. Or late December.. But early December/late November?! The wait will be so long...

Even Fanaa, a massively hyped movie, the first things to come out was a teaser in April - the movie released late May. It was basically teaser poster, teaser trailer, then a couple of weeks, then soundtrack, then song promos .. then the movie.

But the promoing wasn't begun until 2 months before release...

Still, if this is their choice on how to do it, so be it. I'm excited despite.

I get you. I just re-read salbebo's post and if this is by some random IndiaFM board poster, I don't buy it, either... At first I read it as salbebo's own post, which I would believe as I know salbebo wouldn't lie about this stuff. But some random IndiaFM poster? I agree, I need proof.

On the other hand, if it's true, we'll have confirmation in *counts* ... 3 days!

Veracious, even though I am flattered by your complete faith in my character and integrity, this is not any consolation for me when you come to realise my heart-break at the prospect of having to wait any longer then I have to for a teaser, trailer or first look for Tashan. I don’t want my hopes to come crashing down as I am eagerly anticipating this one and I have 2 days before I find out whether I will be jumping for joy our crying in my bedroom for another 5 months.

I feel your pain, salbebo.. I've been hooked onto this project ever since it was announced, too. And it's kind of sad it's not one of those KANK/Fanaa type of "big films" where there's info and pictures leaking out a lot way before actual release.. :/

But thinking positively, I as a Saif fan have Race to anticipate and you as a Kareena fan have the Jab We Met DVD to anticipate (I'm waiting for that one, too).

Wow. I'm smiling so big right now. That teaser totally worked--I'm so excited about this film! I liked Anil's line at the end. Kareena's top was really cute. Everything was just loads and loads of awesomeness. I'm guessing the shot of the four of them walking together is strictly for promos since Anil's the villain. I absolutely am looking forward to this film. I was kinda confused by the poster, though, because of whatever was on top of Akshay's head. Is that a bandanna?

I am so annoyed right now, I am at work so I cant view the promo, then I have to go out after work and so I have to wait till later before I finally get to see the promo.

But I am so excited at the idea of seeing, Sakshay, Saifeena and Anil.
The star cast is probably the best I have seen in ages, its consists of 4 of my all time faves
