So, I'm procrastinating (I'M REALLY REALLY GOOD AT THIS) by making a playlist. Specifically, it's for my college's campus wide party in about a month, where we celebrate the end of classes/spring from early morning until night time. So I'm making a playlist of songs that make me think of spring/happy times etc because a lot of this "party" really just involves lying around on blankets outside and laughing with your friends.

So if you have any suggestions for spring-like songs, let me know. Woohoo! Help me procrastinate! Hah.

I'd say to go with any Holi songs. There's a pretty good list here: http://www.bollywhat-forum.com/index.php?topic=17796.0

My other suggestions:
-Kyon Hawaa from Veer Zara
-Chori Chori Chupke Chupke from Krrish

Have fun at the party!

"Rut aa gayi re" from Earth!  Fantastic, intense song - very springy too.

Spring reminds me of rain and rain reminds me of Barso Re from Guru and Koi Ladki Hai Jab Vo Hansti Hai from Dil Tu Pagal Hai. Hope that helps.  Smiley

"Salaam Namaste" from the film name of the same name. It's a proper spring/summer type song.

I think the "springiest" song I've ever seen was Rind Posh Maal from Mission Kashmir. Complete with lambs, bunnies, ducks, blossoming trees, the works.

Lodi songs (from the spring harvest festival) might fit the bill Cheesy
Plenty of them to be found in regional Punjabi movies and then there's the one from Veer Zaara with Hema Malini and Preity Z.
Not a Lodi song but sort of spring-esque: from Prem Granth with Madhuri and Rishi Kapoor, the song "Dil Dene Ki Rut Ayee" which I like too Smiley
