And that weight loss plan is ridiculous. I consult people on their diets and a macrobiotic one is one I would never recommend because of its lack of meat. If she is doing a gymnastics workout plan she is going to need protein for her muscles or she will wreck her body. But, not that the men at YRF care.

What's wrong with a 50-year old villain?  On the contrary, I think in SRK's case, playing an older villain might turn out to be much more fun to watch. As long as they don't stick a teenage bimbette opposite him...

Nothing wrong with a 50 year old villain...just not for the Dhoom series. It's dumb, flashy fun and requires people like John, Hrithik and Bipasha (at the age they were when they acted in it). And Dhoom 5, really?

Well, if they keep making D1/D2 with John/Hrithik/Bipasha all over again and again then I wouldn't want to see a D5, probably not even a D3. But I give them the credit to actually bring variation to the formula and then I can imagine easily a Dhoom film with Salman, with SRK, even with Big B!  They didn't remake D1 in D2, so why should they not come up with something new for D3?

Okay, I thought the rumour of each of the 3 Khans getting a Dhoom of their own was downright ridiculous, but clearly some people here are taking it a lot more seriously than I did. I thought the first 2 Dhooms had a similar tone, and it's not one that I see any of the Khans or a Big B fitting into. But I wasn't intending to start a debate on whether or not a 50 year old SRK can work the Dhoom villain role, so let's not get into that. I highly doubt these Dhooms are going to materialise anyway! I just posted it here because I thought it was funny. The question was rhetorical.

I don't take the rumor seriously either. Without even reading the news article, I can figure that this is a clear case of making news out of a qote taken out of context. But unlike you I can see it happening in my imagination and think the idea good fun.

Yes, it might have been a rhetorical question - but how could we possibly let that hilarious image lie and not run wild with that idea?    So much fun!! It's exactly what the Dhooms are for - keeping us in stitches.

I heard on Indian TV this morning that Aamir has chosen Raju Hirani's upcoming project and dropped Dhoom 3 largely due to so many delays. Yay?
(And quite frankly after hearing Katrina is going to be involved I'm hoping the whole project gets shelved altogether.)

Dhoom 3 pushed back again!

For a long time it was being debated if Aamir Khan would start Raju Hirani's untitled film first or the much delayed Dhoom 3.

And now it is finally decided. The actor is doing the Hirani film and since he does only one film at a time, it now seems like Dhoom 3 will have to wait. Says an insider, "Aamir did not want to let go of Raju's film. Raju wouldn't have waited and would've started the film with Ranbir Kapoor.

Aditya Chopra has no choice but to wait for AK, so his dream project starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra has once again been pushed back." So this means poor Katrina Kaif will not get her wish and have a film each with the reigning Khans - Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh in the same year! We can almost hear Kareena Kapoor laughing out loud.

YRF Clarifies

A leading morning broadsheet has declared that the shooting of Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom: 3 had been indefinitely postponed and that it would be shot after Aamir Khan completes certain other future commitments. The production house has clarified that this news is untrue. In an official release, YRF states: “The shooting of Dhoom:3 starts will start in May 2012 and Aamir Khan joins the schedule in June as per the original plan.”

The film is produced by Aditya Chopra, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had also written Dhoom and Dhoom: 2. Apart from Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film is slated for a 2013 release.

Yay! heavy bikes are so much part of the Dhoom franchise! And I'm glad Aamir is riding a classy BMW and not some showy funky green Jpanese manga bike. (Says one who is the proud owner of a Kawasaki! LOL! )
I'm not so sure about the hat though,...  ... but in the end, ... he can make nearly every look work.
