many different ways are there . one common way in conversation is :

in devnagri: वाढदिवसानिमित्त मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा (vaadhdivasaanimitta manahpoorvak shubhecchaa)

eta,also sometimes shortened to वाढदिवसाच्या शुभेच्छा .

chuknaa doesn't have equivalent i can think of . can you give example sentence ?

Wow, I have asked around (though not w/ Marathi speakers) to find another language with the khaaNe/jevNe distinction which is also there in Konkani (though there it's khauncha/jevuncha).  But in Konkani at least, translating 'jevuncha' as 'to have a meal' is a very loose translation--the proper translation is 'to have a meal at which rice is the main dish'.  If you have chapatis and daal or idly sambarfor breakfast, even though that is a meal you cannot use 'jevuncha', it has to be 'khavuncha'.  But if you have rice, daal, and subzi for lunch then that is a 'jevan' (a meal with rice as the main dish).  Is this the same in Marathi or is it simply a meal versus eating distinction?

btw, is vaachu in your example pronounced with a ts sound a or ch sound?  Your transliteration didnt match the devanagri (or perhaps the hindi devanagri Im familiar with).

And does vaachu change with other pronouns? Here goes nothing:

tumhii vaachu shaktaa
to vaachuu shakto
te vaachuu shakte
tii vaachuu shakta

tu vaachuu shaktos/as

vaatsu is pronounced with 'ts' sound . it is difficult to say when to use which and is sign of native speaker . it is written as devnagari ch everywhere though . just like for 'j' sometimes you pronounced with dental (as z ) , and other times with j in marathi . i haven't thought when which sound is to use  .

no , vaatsu does not change , only ending changes .

crazy1 , in marathi , jevNe is ' to have meal ' , and khane is just 'to eat ' . you don't need rice for meal .

Ahh, thank you very much. I would have written it in Devanaagarii if I knew how it was spelled in it. It's the name of a soon coming (I hope) Marathi film with Nandita Das and Atul Kulkarni.

both actors are very good , but subject sounds morose and rural . if you are interested , some 2000 era pictures to recommend are , i will write in devnagari for clarity :  अनाहत ( *ing sonali bendre and deepti naval ) , अस्तित्व ( *ing Tabu ) , श्वास ( national award winner ) , कायद्याचं बोला , सातच्या आत घरात  , दहावी फ , डोंबिवली फास्ट . most of these havewon awards .

Depressing subejct or not, I think the both of them make it all worth it.

this is not quite so correct , but if properly said , it means ' hey , when have i ever lived in maharashtra ?! ' , an exclamation .

kaay  = kya
mee = main
kuthey = kahan
madhye = mein
rahile = rahi
hote , should be 'aahe' = hoon

And how do you say "tum bahut yaad aate/aa rahe ho?"

if it is a girl, say : ' तू खूप आठवतेस ' , or ' तुझी खूप आठवण येते '

for rahe ho variant ( ie. continuous ) ,say 'तुझी खूप आठवण येते आहे '

so how is the scene with this girl ?
